Bender Engineering & Commissioning, Inc. (BECx) was formed in 2005 and was created to fulfill the need for cross-trained mechanical and plumbing engineers, energy auditors, commissioning agents and green building consultants. These skill sets provide what and has grown to three (3) full time employees (two of which are LEED™ A.P.s) with two (2) part time employees. BECx is located in historic downtown Truckee, California, north of Lake Tahoe.

BECx is fully on board with AutoCAD 2009 MEP in 3-D and is working towards standardizing on AutoDesk’s Revit Suite. No other firms in the region provide this full range of energy and green consulting and certification services and knowledge; BECx is a one-stop shop for all your energy needs in the commercial, residential and industrial markets.

Jeff Bender, President
Jeff Bender formed Bender Engineering Commissioning, Inc. (BECx) in 2005 to provide locally owned engineering and commissioning related services for the Reno/Tahoe area.
